Goose Creek Tomato
This is a Heirloom from the early 1800’s from the family of Jimmy Williams, owner of Hayground Organic Gardening in California. These seeds were passed down from Jimmy’s great great grandmother, A young Caribbean slave smuggled these aboard on a ship that was docked a Charleston, South Carolina near Goose Creek. Jimmy’s grandmother Elouise Watson shared this precious heirloom with Jimmy in the 1950’s. This is a Midseason, Regular Leaf, Indeterminate which is a great producer of 6-10oz red beefsteaks. A thicker walled tomato with a great well balanced in flavor. Excellent use for slicing and canning. (20 seeds)
