ROGER’S BEST BLACK BEEFSTEAK TOMATOES
Roger’s Best Black Tomato
Not sure if this is a Heirloom or Open Pollinated. These seeds were sent to Denise Salmon back in 2000 from Roger Dahlstrom from Sweden. The package was just marked Best Black. This tomato is a Midseason, Regular Leaf, Indeterminate that produce these ruffled black beefsteaks ranging in weight from 12-16oz. A heavy producing plant up until frost be sure to stake them well. The flavors are complexed juicy slightly acidic and tart works very well together some say the best tasting black tomato. Excellent market seller, slicer, canning fruit also in my top 10. (20 seeds)
