Big Cheef Tomato

There are 3 different versions of this tomato.  We also have the red version as well. This tomato was created by Bill Jeffers. A mid-season tomato plant with potato leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produces these black beefsteak tomatoes. Be sure to stake your plants well because this is a productive plant. The weights can range from 5 oz up to 1 pound. Our tomato averages were between 8oz to 10oz in size. The flavor of this fruit is well-balanced. They could be used for slicing, sandwiches, and canning.
