Big Momma Tomato

This is a rare heirloom tomato that we received from seed collector Larry Phipps. There are 2 versions of this tomato. This is not the hybrid version. It is a mid-season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that is a heavy producer of these large red tomatoes. The weights can range from 10 oz up to 16 oz in size. These large tomatoes are very meaty and sweet with an old-timey taste. They could be used for slicing, canning, pastes, and sauces.
