Reasons
Some reasons of why all sales are final (No returns, exchanges, replacements, or refunds). There are too many factors once the seeds are sent out an then received. We will list some of the more common reasons below.
The first problem can occur when starting seeds. Which is overwatering the seeds, which causes damping off and the seeds will not germinate. Or not enough water when they are on a heat mat, which will cook the seeds and not germinate.
Next, environmental conditions can also play a part in seeds not germinating to hot or to cold.
Another reason would be pest and diseases. This could be caused by unsanitary rooms or containers not being cleaned. Also, purchasing contaminated soil can happen as well. Both of the above-mentioned could have pest and/or diseases in them. This will also cause germination issues. Which they may not germinate or they germinate and sprout then die off.
Then, there is transplant shock (when up potting) and over fertilization can deform and/or kill the young and tender plants. (These 2 normally go together)
Lastly, mixing seeds up when starting them. This causes not knowing what was planted and from who. Especially, if you are planting seeds from several different companies and/or trades. Then it will be very hard to narrow down what was started or grown. (There are thousands upon thousands of different tomatoes out there and many look a like).
These were just some of the many reasons why all sales are final – (No returns, exchanges, replacements, or refunds). There are just too many factors that are out of our control that can cause seeds not to germinate, have sprouting issues, or dying when they are young. Along with mixing seeds up when starting them.
