Isbell’s New Big Dwarf Tomato

This heirloom dwarf tomato was introduced by the Isbell Seed Company back in 1919. The original cross for this tomato was Dwarf Champion and Ponderosa tomatoes. They will get about 2 to 3 feet tall, which make these tomatoes good for container gardens. A mid to late season variety and a determinate tomato plant. They will produce a lot of these red beefsteak tomatoes for about 4 to 6 weeks. Most of our tomatoes weight from 6oz to 8oz in size. The flavor starts out sweet then acidity will come in after a few seconds, a very flavorful fruit. Isbell‘s New Big Dwarf Tomato is a great market, slicing, and garnish tomato.
