Marhio’s Livingstons Marvelous Tomato

This tomato was created by I.C. Hoffman of the Ohio Agriculture Experiment Station in 1928. The Livingston Seed Company released the tomato in 1935 with the name Marvelous. It is a mid-season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. This is a disease resistant variety. A semi-determinate type that is a heavy producer of these red fruits. The weights of this fruit can vary between 4 oz. and 10 oz. It is a well-balanced juicy tomato with an old-timey taste. These marvelous fruits are great for slicing, canning, and sauces.
