Matt,Sue E Small Red Tomato

Update about this tomato. These were a cross between Brandywine Tomato and Bloody Butcher Tomato. Now when listing we came upon more information. There are 8 varieties of the tomato per Tville link provided. We provided a photo below in the gallery from the link from back in 2021 per the creators own words states that there is a small red one. Plus there is conversation on Tville there was a version sold through Muddy Bucket Farms as well. None the less he even says he was sending seeds out to people to tinker with in the photo as well with the 8 variants named. Makes you wonder how many versions there are out there besides the 8 that are mentioned. How many people were they sent to? How many kept the name? But this is the Matt,Sue E Small Red Tomato. The creator emailed us saying this is not it and the the name was trademarked back on July 15th 2024. We responded back the same day and got no reply. Then they tried a different way August 30th 2024 45 days later. But we left the information up here of the link and the photo below because this is where they originally came from Tville. So to avoid the hassle we changed the name to Matt,Sue E Small Red Tomato. These are a mid-season tomato plant with regular leaves. An indeterminate variety that produce these 2 ounce to 4 ounce tomatoes. A juicy, balanced tomato with a touch of an old-timey flavor. These are a great fresh eating, salad, and market fruit. If you like this tomato, you may like Dwarf Tanuda Red Tomato.

Added note – We always research tomatoes before we list them. We dread ones that the only reference is Tville. The reason we dread it is for the simple fact there was so much sharing of non stabilized seeds on that site along with people keeping the same names. This is why we provide links in our descriptions. Another thing that happened were breeders were sending seeds out to growers for more grow outs to stabilize the tomato faster. But some of the growers they trusted released them sooner than what they wanted. An example of this is all the different Cherokee Tiger Tomatoes out there. This is why we dread Tville cause it stems back to what they were doing on that site a few years ago to 15 plus years ago and the decisions that were made. But this is still rippling down to growers today for what they decided to do back then.
