Red Barn Tomato

This is an heirloom tomato that Joe Bratka‘s father bred. He found these seeds in his father’s old tool shed. When he discovered them, and he sent them to Dr. Carolyn Male to grow them. This is a late season variety with regular leaves.  A great producing indeterminate plant of these large red beefsteak tomatoes. Be sure to stake your plants well because these tomatoes weigh over 16oz. The flavor of these giant fruits are on the acidic side with an old-timey taste.
