Our largest tomato we got for this variety was 1 pound 11 ounces. Be sure to stake your plants well because of the production and weights. This is a juicy and meaty fruit with a sweet flavor. An excellent tomato for slicing, canning, garnishes, or markets. If you like giant tomatoes, you may like 1884 Purple Tomato. Seeds arrived timely, looks pretty healthy; this is my second season to have a business with this company and germination was very good and plants are strong and proactive. This year I selected most heat resistant tomatoes, relaying on honest description.
