1400-46 DHF Tomato

We purchased 1400-46 from Steve at Double Helix Farms. These were an experimental line he had. I named this 1400-46 DHF Tomato the DHF stands for Double Helix Farms. I wanted to post seeds from him in honor of him, that is why I left the name the same and just added the DHF at the end for his farm. Steve was an older gentleman, a great guy but no one has heard from him and his site is no longer accessible for a couple of years now. These were an experimental line he had. You might get some variations in coloring, some with more darker shoulders than others. It is an early to mid-season tomato plant with regular leaves. An indeterminate variety and a heavy producer of these 3 to 5 ounce tomatoes. The flavor is more acidic than sweet with a bit of tanginess but meaty and mouth watering.
