Amethyst Jewel Tomato was created by Brad Gates. These are a mid to late season variety with regular leaves. They are also an indeterminate plant and will produce up until frost time if the plant is taken care of. Also, these are a big producer of these of 7oz -13 oz fruits. This has a very well-balanced flavor, but leaning slightly more to the sweet side. A great bicolored tomato with an excellent combination of red, and blue/black skin. This tomato is also higher in anthocyanins because of the darker blue skin. Be sure that your tomatoes get a lot of sunlight to bring out the antho in the tomato.
