Big Springs Cherokee Yellow Tomato

This is an heirloom tomato that comes from Kentucky before the 1930s. It is a mid to late season tomato plant with potato leaf foliage. This is an indeterminate variety, which means it will produce all the way up to frost if taken care of properly. It produces yellow beefsteak tomatoes that can weigh up to 1 pound. This fruit is very juicy, which makes it a great slicer. The flavor is well-balanced with a slight acidic lean. It is great for canning and sauces.
