This pepper was developed through many years of crossing and stabilization. It should also be noted, this is the hottest pepper in the world by the Guinness Book of World Records. They can range in SHU from 1,600,000 up to 2,200,000 Scoville Heat Units. These are a gorgeous bright red color to dark red when they are ripe, with a stinger at the bottom. Some people describe the flavor as fruity with a hint of cinnamon, but are really hot. After eating, this pepper hit seems like it attacks the back of the throat.
