Cascade Lava Tomato was developed by Brad Gates in California. This is a red beefsteak tomato with weights from 3 oz-5 0z. They also have stripes and specks on the outer skin. A mid to late season variety with regular leaves. They are also an indeterminate tomato plant which will produce up until the frost comes if taken care of. The flavor of these delightful fruits are sweet and fruity with a bit of acidity. These would great for slicing, salads, or for garnishes to elevate your meals.
