I've grown Damascus Steel as started plants to sell for several years and people keep asking for it. So last year I saved back a plant and grew it out for myself. Wow, the flavor was awesome! Sweet but also with some complexity. I'll be growing it out this year, too.

I couldn't resist trying this tomato because it was beautiful. How delightful to find the taste was quite good as well! I got fairly good production late into the season, on sturdy plants. And considering we had a ridiculous amount of rain this year, this variety held up well compared to others that had more disease & cracking issues. Will definitely grow this one again.
