Dwarf Sturt Desert Pea Tomato
These were created by The Dwarf Tomato Project. The name of this was in honor of the British explorer Charles Sturt. He led an expedition through the desert in Australia back in the 19th century. A mid-season variety with regular rugose leaves. These plants get about 3 to 4 feet tall and produces red beefsteak fruits with weights from 4oz to 8oz. They will be a deep red color when fully ripe. These have a sweet and fruity flavor with some acidity. A good tomato for slicing, canning, or fresh eating. If you like Dwarf Sturt Desert Pea Tomato, you may like Dwarf Hannah’s Prize Tomato.
