Fred Limbaugh’s Potato Top Tomato

This family heirloom tomato was introduced to Doug Oster by the late Fred Limbaugh from Pennsylvania. After Fred’s death, Doug Oster changed the name from Potato Top Tomato to Fred Limbaugh’s Potato Top Tomato to honor his legacy. This is a mid-season tomato plant with potato leaf foliage. It is an indeterminate variety that will produce until frost time if the plant is taken care of. Ours had a weight range of 5 oz. to 10 oz. because of garden placement. However, some say it can have weights of up to 2 pounds. These delicious tomatoes have a fruity flavor. They would be great for slicing, sandwiches, and sauces.
