Gigant Kuby Tomato

A rare heirloom tomato from Russian. Its Russian name translates to Giant Cuban. These black tomatoes are a mid-season plant with regular leaves that produces these beautiful beefsteak tomatoes. This indeterminate plant yields lots of these tomatoes with a range of weights from 8oz to 12oz. These plants are heat tolerant and thrive in hot weather. They are a great for slicing for sandwiches or for canning. The flavor is a bit complex, being sweet and tart, but are very juicy.
