Goldman’s Italian American Tomato

These tomatoes are said to have been found at a roadside stand in Italy. They were brought back to New York by Amy Goldman. Then she named it after here father’s grocery store. This is a mid-season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produces these pear/ bag shaped fruits. They have weights from 10 ounces up to 20 ounces. Our tomatoes did not achieve these weights due to garden placement. The flavor is well-balanced but leans slightly more to the sweet side. These are not too juicy.
