This tomato was a popular tomato at the farmers markets. These were a cross between Grandma Oliver’s Green and an unknown black tomato. A mid-season tomato plant with regular leaves. This is also an indeterminate type that produce these medium to large tomatoes. The weights can range from 8oz, 14oz. They have a reddish brown color that follows through to the inside too. These delicious fruits have a rich and complex flavor to them. They will make an excellent slicing tomato for sandwiches and vegetable trays.
