Gray Hawk Tomato

This is a rare heirloom tomato from Kentucky. These tomatoes go back to the Tomas family who got the seeds in a trade with an Appalachian hiker. A mid to late season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that is a heavy producer of these red tomatoes. The weight of these fruits can range from 3 ounces up to 5 ounces. They have a full flavor to them with a touch of acidity. These tomatoes are meaty with a thicker wall to them.
