The cross was done by Dean Slater of Michigan. Gun Metal Grey 2.0 Tomato is a variant we found from the original Gun Metal Grey Tomato. The difference between the original and the 2.0 version is the outer skin is a brighter orange color. Compared to the original being a darker black color. But this plant will grow up to 6 feet tall too. This is a mid-season tomato plant with regular leaves. It is also an indeterminate variety that produces loads of these gorgeous striped beefsteak tomatoes. They have a sweet but tart flavor and make an excellent slicing tomato.
