Gus Heart PL Tomato

This is a rare tomato that comes from Canada in the 1900s through an exchange through neighbors. The guy who saved these seeds the late Gus, then the saved seeds were passed down, and we were lucky enough to know someone who had the seeds. It is a mid-season tomato plant with potato leaf foliage. This is an indeterminate variety, which means it will produce all the way up to frost if taken care of properly. It produces pink beefsteaks that have a weight of 12 ounces. This fruit is very meaty and juicy. It has an old-timey taste. This tomato is great for slicing, sauces, and canning.
