Description
Hillbilly Tomato
An heirloom tomato that came from West Virginia and dates back to the late 1800s. This bicolored tomato can reach a pound or more in weight. Hillbilly Tomato was very popular at our farmers markets, and we took them every week. These beauties have a sweet and fruity flavor with low acidity. A late season variety with regular leaves and an indeterminate type. This is a heavy producing tomato plant, so make sure to stake them well. They make an excellent slicing tomato for sandwiches and vegetable trays. If you like this tomato, be sure to check out Gold Medal Tomato. Be sure to check out our YouTube channel.
