Hungarian Hot Wax Peppers is also known as Hungarian Wax Pepper. This is an early to mid-season pepper plant that is very productive. They will start ripening when they are a pale yellow. Then as they ripen further they will turn orange and lastly to red. This is an heirloom pepper that is very popular in Mexican dishes. These peppers also make an excellent stuffing pepper too. This pepper would also be great for pickling when combined with other vegetables. They have a Scoville rating from 1,000 to 15,000 (SHU).
