This is a rare red heirloom tomato from Indiana. A late season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produce these giant ox heart tomatoes. Be sure to stake your plant well. Not just because of the weights of the fruits but also the production. One of our best producing plants of large tomatoes. The weight of these fruits are 1 pound (ca. 454 gram) plus. A very meaty tomato with a sweet flavor. All in all a great fruit for canning, slicing, and markets.
