J.D.’s Special C-Tex Tomato
This tomato was developed by J.D. Brann back in the early 8os. C-Tex in the name refers to Conroe, Texas. These tomatoes are an early to mid-season heat tolerant variety with regular leaves. They are an excellent producing indeterminate plant. A very popular tomato and a must-have in any garden. J.D. Special C-Tex Tomato has a juicy, rich flavor that leans towards the acidic side but not over powering. It is a long-lasting flavor that would be a great addition to any sandwich, sauce, or garnish. Another tomato you may like would be Black Krim Tomato.
