Jeff Davis Tomato

There are 2 different versions of this heirloom tomato. Most places say it has potato leaf foliage, but there is a regular leaf version as well. We have the regular leaf version. The place we got these from have it advertised as a potato leaf type. But the tomato they show in the picture with the plant has regular leaves. A rare Kentucky heirloom tomato that is a late season tomato plant. An indeterminate variety that produce these 11 ounces up to 30 ounces tomatoes. Be sure to stake your plants well. They have an exceptional sweet taste with an old-timey flavor. These fruits could be used for slicing, garnishes, and markets. If you like this tomato, you may like John Henry Tomato. I garden in Georgia. This is one tomato I will plant every year. A good crop of solid, meaty tomatoes with a wonderful flavor. Great for tomato sandwiches and BLTS.
