Jellico Tomato

This is a rare heirloom tomato that comes from Tennessee. A mid-season tomato with regular leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produce these large orange beefsteak tomatoes. Be sure to stake your plants well and take care of them too. If you do so, they will keep yielding fruits until the frost comes. The weights will range from 12 ounces (ca. 454 gram) to 14 ounces (ca. 529 gram). A meaty tomato on the sweet side with some acidity on the back end. These could be used for slicing and canning.
