Joe Thieneman Australian Heart Tomato

This tomato was given to the late Joe Thieneman from Louisville, Kentucky by an Australian friend during WWll. It is a mid-season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. This is an indeterminate variety that will produce until frost time if the plant is taken care of. Ours was only around 10 oz. because of garden placement. However, some say it can reach up to 1 pound in size. These tasty red oxheart tomatoes are very juicy and acidic. They would be great for sauces, slicing, and canning.
