Description
Jungle George Tomato
We found this tomato amongst a pack of what should have been Burraker‘s Favorite tomatoes. Why we named it Jungle George Tomato. The reason for the name because at the peak of the season our garden looked like a jungle. We would always joke around and say to each other hey George time to go to the jungle, hence the name. (Note, not sure of the stability). A mid to late season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produce these bicolored heart shaped tomatoes. They are a gorgeous green when ripe fruit with a marbling of green and pink flesh. The flavor is on the sweet side with a touch of tartness. A great tomato for slicing, fresh eating, garnishes.
