He is known for introducing a large number of tomatoes to the Great Lake region around the 20th century. These are golden yellow fruits with red blemishes that weigh from 3-6 oz that rarely crack. Listed on Slow Food USA’s Ark of Taste. This is an indeterminate plant that produces these low acidic fruits with a a sweet and juicy flavor. Goes well on sandwiches, cut up into salads or in sauce.
