Maralinga Dwarf Tomato

This was a cross between Cherokee Purple Tomato and Wilpena Tomato back in 2008 by Patrina Nuske Small. It was stabilized and released by The Dwarf Tomato Project. They are a mid-season tomato plant with regular rugose leaf foliage. Being a semi-determinate means it will produce fruits for short duration, stop, and then produce again. These produce black beefsteaks with weights between 6 oz -12 oz. The flavor of these juicy fruits are rich and sweet. They would be an excellent tomato for slicing and canning.
