Description
Mark Twain Tomato
This is an heirloom tomato first offered to the public in the 1990s. A mid to late season tomato plant (75–85 days) with regular leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that is a heavy producer of these beefsteak tomatoes. Be sure to stake your plants well because of the production and weight of these fruits. An excellent tomato for farmers markets, slicing, or canning. They have a well-balanced flavor that goes back and forth from sweet to acidic. The weight can range from 11 ounces up to 24 ounces. The heaviest one we got was 22 ounces. If you like this tomato, you may like Crimson Cushion Tomato. We have a review of Mark Twain Tomato on our YouTube channel.
