Nonna (Grandmother) Agnes Blue Bean is a very rare variety from Italy, These were founded by Joseph Simcox who traced the roots back to northern Italy to a town called Bernardo. Also sold by a big seed vendor one time and only offered for 1 year. These are best used as a dry bean, but can also be used as a shelling or snap bean. A very productive, mid-season, heirloom bean. We have been growing these for many years now. An added note, you will receive both blue and brown colors as in the photographs.
