These tomatoes are an heirloom tomato that comes from Poland. They came to New York in the early 1900s. Opalka Tomato is a mid-season tomato plant with regular leaves. These elongated tomatoes make great sauces, canning, or pastes because of their meatiness. This is an indeterminate plant that is a monster producer of these 7oz  red elongated tomatoes.
