Perry Family Tomato

This is a rare heirloom tomato from Kentucky. It started with the Perry family over 100 years ago and was passed throughout the family until a little before the 1950s. Then it was passed down to friends of friends. It is a mid to late season tomato plant with potato leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produce these lovely beefsteak tomatoes. An average produce of these 9 ounce to 12 ounce delicious tomatoes. They are a meaty fruit that has bot sweet and acidic flavors but leans more towards the acidic side.
