Plan 9 From Outer Space Tomato

This tomato was discovered by Remi Rotella from New York in 2014. It came out of a packet of Solar Flare Tomatoes she had grown. She named it after the movie Plan 9 from Outer Space. This is a mid-season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. It is an indeterminate variety that produces these beefsteak tomatoes that have a weight close to 16 oz. These gorgeous fruits start off sweet, then is followed by acidity. They could be used for slicing, sandwiches, and canning.
