Polish Ellis Tomato

This is a rare tomato variety. A mid-season tomato plant with potato leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produce these large red beefsteak tomatoes. They have a weight range from 14 ounces (ca. 529 gram) up to 18 ounces (ca. 680 gram). Due to the weights of these fruits and the high production, be sure to stake your plants well. A very juicy tomato with a unique taste. The flavors a first bite are sweet, acidic, and tangy, then mellows out to an old-timey taste. An excellent tomato for slicing, garnishes, or sauces.
