Polish Ellis Tomato

This is a rare tomato variety. A mid-season tomato plant with potato leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produce these large red beefsteak tomatoes. They have a weight range from 14 ounces up to 18 ounces. Due to the weights of these fruits and the high production, be sure to stake your plants well. A very juicy tomato with a unique taste. The flavors a first bite are sweet, acidic, and tangy, then mellows out to an old-timey taste. An excellent tomato for slicing, garnishes, or sauces.
