Australian Beauty Tomato

$3.50$6.50

Australian Beauty Tomato
I got this Heirloom from Dr. Jane she grew these back in 2016 and only gave out a few packs due to the low amount of seeds that come out of this tomato. But here is the story how Dr. Jane got and when she grew out Australian Beauty Tomato. The story from 2021 and goes that a 90-year-old patient she met during her rural rotation in Eudora, KS with another doctor during her medical school 15 years prior was chatting with her about her mutual love of gardening. He told her about his favorite tomato that he had been growing in his garden for 70 years and said it was the best tomato he had ever tasted. All he knew was that it was originally from Australia. The next day he showed up at the clinic with some seeds that he had smeared on a paper towel and dried for her. She did not plant the seeds for 10 years, but when she did she fell in love with the fruit. It is an absolutely delicious tomato; sweet with a hint of acid, and almost no seeds. She still grows it every year. Says it is the finest specimen she has ever grown, Weighing well over a pound. She thinks about that cute little man every time she eats one. The story and description above from Dr. Jane 2021. Another tomato that is similar to Australian Beauty tomato, you may want to check out is Curtis Cheek Tomato.
