Prue Tomato

These are a rare late season heirloom tomato. This tomato dates back to the 1900s to Mr. Prue of Massachusetts. A very productive indeterminate plant which produced these 2oz fruits. Some say they should be larger, but every time we grow them they always average 2oz. These are an elongated heart shaped tomato with a nipple at the bottom of the tomato. They are very flavorful, but more towards the acidic side. This fruit could be used in salads, sauces, pastes, or fresh eating. Be sure to watch our video on YouTube about Prue Tomato.
