Purple Calabash Tomato

A deep purple heirloom tomato that is a mid-season tomato plant. An indeterminate variety which is a non-stop producing plant until the frost comes. We had two plants of Purple Calabash Tomato growing, and it seemed everyday we kept picking them. A nice deeply ribbed beefsteak tomato that weigh between 6oz to 8oz. They could be used for slicing, canning, and sauces. These are not too acidic or sweet, but almost has a wine taste to them. Be sure to watch our review of this tomato on YouTube.
