Purple Haze Tomato

This is the non-hybrid version of Purple Haze Tomato. They were de-hybridized and stabilized some years back from the hybrid. We got these some years ago and finally got around to planting them. This is an early to mid-season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. Also, this is an indeterminate variety that produces these 1 to 2 oz cherry tomatoes. We had average yields with this variety, but they are supposed to be a high producing plant. The reasons we may not have gotten the weight of the production because we had a really hot and strange summer for growing. These tomato have a sweet but acidic taste with a some smokiness.
