This is a rare tomato and there is not much information known about it. These are a mid-season variety with regular leaves. These tomatoes have a very interesting and unique taste to them. The flavor starts out sweet, then turns acidic, but finishes with fruity notes. This is also an indeterminate plant which is very prolific. The weight of these red beauties varies from 2 oz (75.6 g) to 5 oz (ca. 189 g). Red Smudge Tomato could be used for fresh eating, salads, or the larger sizes would make great slicers.
