Roma Tomato

A very popular disease resistant heirloom tomato. This was a commercialized tomato for many years used for sauces, pastes, and canning. A compact tomato plant that has regular leaves. This is a mid to late season tomato plant that are great for container gardens. A determinate variety which will give you an abundance of these red elongated tomatoes. They will produce for 4 to 6 weeks, right when canning season is in full swing. This is a thicker walled tomato with fewer seeds. The taste is sweet but has an acid flavor to them.
