These are a rare heirloom tomato that were found at a base of 3 volcanoes in Guatemala. This tomato was grown for many generations by the farmer’s family. An early season tomato plant with regular leaf foliage. This plant does well in hot climates. These are also an indeterminate variety that produce these red tomatoes. The plants are a steady producer of these 8 ounce to 10 ounce beefsteak tomatoes. The flavors are on the sweet side with some added tartness. A great tomato for slicing, canning, and fresh eating.
