There are several colors for Sausage Tomato. The other colors for sausage tomato would be green and cream. We really liked the red version we grew this year. Once they started to ripen, it seemed like it was never going to quit producing. These were the one of the last tomatoes that stayed on the vine until the frost killed them. These are a mid-season plant and a long keeper tomato. This is an indeterminate variety that is prolific. If you do a lot of canning, sauces, or pastes, this would be the tomato you would want to grow. The flavor is on the acidic side with a touch of sweetness, but has a full flavor to them.
