Description
Sojourner South American Red Tomato
This is a rare tomato that traces back to Brazil. Some say it is a late season tomato plant. But some say it is a mid-season tomato plant. Ours was a mid-season tomato plant (75-78days) with regular leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that will produce these large blunt oxheart tomatoes. The weights can range from 8 ounces up to 16 ounces. Some say these could get up to 2 pounds. We are not sure if they can or not. But we know they can get to the 1 pound weight. The flavors are on the sweet side with an old-timey taste. These fruits could be used for slicing, canning, and markets.
