Description
Sudduth Brandywine Tomato
This tomato pre-dates the 1900s. The furthest documentation of these seeds goes back to Mrs. Doris Sudduth Hill. She said that it had been in her family since about the 1900s. Before that, no one know if it is the original Brandywine or how it crossed to become one. This is a late season tomato plant with potato leaf foliage. An indeterminate variety that produces these large to giant tomatoes. They say the weights range from 14 ounces up to 36 ounces. The flavor is on the acidic side with a richness to them. An excellent tomato for slicing, markets, or canning. If you like Sudduth Brandywine Tomato, you may like Olive Hill Tomato. Be sure to check out our reviews on our YouTube channel.
